Our 19th Annual Hawaiian Quilt Show will be held on February 5 & 6, 2011 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Thelma Parker Gymnasium in Waimea.
Quilting is one of Hawaii’s indigenous arts that is known world-wide and at this event you can view beautiful quilts and trace patterns from our collection. You can even get a lesson in making your own Hawaiian quilt or improving your applique and quilting techniiques.
This year, our show is part of the annual Cherry Blossom Festival so there will be even more things to see and do. We'll be posting more information as the date draws near, but just to whet your appetite, pineapples, bananas, koa and even the kudzu vine will be represented in the quilts you'll see at the show.
So mark your calendar for February 5 & 6, 2011 and plan to spend the day.
